August 6th @ TD Place

Welcome Kyle!

Ottawa January 19th 2022

NCAFA had its 2022 AGM last night. We would like to welcome Kyle Kirkwood as our new VP of Programs. Kyle is an incredibly well respected member of our Football community and we look forward to working with him to grow your league.

As a player he went from playing 6 V 6 in Sudbury to the Ottawa Gee Gees and then on to the BC Lions. As a coach he's done it all from coaching at kids camps, to NCAFA Midget to the Ottawa Gee-Gees.

Join us in welcoming Kyle to our football family.

66th Season in the Bag!

What a year it was. A comeback year for so many. And we did more than okay. NCAFA rocked it's 66th season. From the first flag play to the last rouge of November.

Our registration numbers were on par with 2019. We saw our community embrace our return to play with an incredibly high turnout of families and friends to all our games.

None of this "rocking" is happening without our dedicated volunteers putting in countless hours as team mangers, equipment managers, timers, stick crews, trainers, coaches, executives and other movers and shakers doing a thousand and one smaller tasks.

We also want to thank our officials, who spend their free time making sure our kids have games to play.

We're looking forward to 2022. Flag starts in late May, we have Girls Tackle this spring and of course a return to tackle football next August.

Onward to season 67!

Thanks to the women and girls of NCAFA.

NCAFA is fortunate to have so many fearless and strong women helping run our clubs, our teams and the league. Without their passion for our sport, we wouldn't be as strong, well organized, emphatic and such important community organizations.
"If you want something said, ask a man; if you want something done, ask a woman."
We thank you for everything.
We're also blessed to have such incredible female players whose hard work, dedication, skills and love of the game inspires everyone around them.
“Don’t let people tell you that you can’t do something.”
