NCAFA Regular Season Tie Breaker Rules

What follows are the tie-breaking rules for all levels in NCAFA Fall Tackle.  These rules determine the final standings which in turn determine the matchups for the Semi-Finals.  The rules are administered in order until the tie is broken.  Of special note is the fact that points for and against are never used at the Tyke through Bantam level.

Tyke through Bantam:

1. The best won and lost record in games played between the tied teams involved;

2. Most wins in common games (games played against the same opponents).

3. Strength of wins (total wins of all teams defeated added together)

4. Strength of schedule (wins of all teams played added together)

5. As a last resort, toss of a coin

Midget U19:

1. The best won and lost record in games played between the teams involved;

2. The best points for and against record in games played between the teams involved;

3. The best points for and against record for all games played

4. As a last resort, toss of a coin
