The National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA), an organization deeply committed to fostering the growth of youth sports in Ottawa, is excited to announce openings for four new Director positions on its esteemed Board of Directors.

With a rich legacy spanning 60 years and a participation base of over 4000 youth, NCAFA stands as a pillar in the Ottawa community, dedicated to shaping the future of our young athletes.

This is a rare opportunity for individuals passionate about sports and keen on making a meaningful impact in the lives of Ottawa's youth to join our dynamic team of leaders.

Position Details:

• Open Positions: Four Director positions
• Application Deadline: May 7, 2024
• Elections: NCAFA Semi-Annual AGM on May 21, 2024
• Eligibility: Current NCAFA Member Club Presidents, Volunteers, former NCAFA Member Club Presidents, Volunteers, and community members with a vested interest in youth sports
• Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of football
  • Background in sports administration and management
  • Understanding of community sport organizations
  • Expertise in volunteer committee management
  • Legal proficiency
  • Other compatible skill sets conducive to advancing a large community-based youth sports organization
